Up for sale is a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I bought this for one of my sons as a first car about a year ago. I started fixing it up only to find he would rather a small car. Vehicle runs and drives and passed inspection. You can buy it and drive but it still needs some work. Needs a front end alignment as it wore down the front tires on the outside pretty quick. Rear tires are nice. When you first start the Jeep cold there is a sound coming from the torque converter area for about 30 seconds and then goes away. I was told the transmission had just been rebuilt before I got it but there is no way I can verify this. The transmission and transfer case work fine otherwise. The transfer case is AWD with Low range. Exterior is good in that there are no big dents and no rust throughout. The paint is rough. Interior is nice other than age. In the pics it looks like there are big stains in the carpet. It is actually water from when I washed it. The pics enhanced it somehow. It also has the factory alarm but can only be disabled with the rear hatch lock. Horns work intermittently. Checked the wiring. It is good. The horns are just rusted out. It has electric locks, windows, mirrors and front seats that all work. With a little work this could be an A plus car for a nice price that is great in the snow. Here is a list of what I have done last spring: New stereo with BlueTooth and mic installed in the dash New front hub bearings New front u-joints New coil New window motor New Crankshaft position sensor New electric heated mirrors New exhaust front to back New rear hatch shocks Complete tune up (plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, cap & rotor) New fuel pump New front fascia (lights, grill, bumper, etc.) The old was yellowing and cracking
