1965 Cadillac Convertible California Car. It has a very good body with very solid doors, floors, 1/4s and trunk. Check out the photos. I can send MORE PHOTOS if you want to see more details. I have several Cadillacs and other cars. I bought this one for me, but found a 66 Eldorado with celebrity history so this 65 is now up for sale. LOOK at the photos and COMPARE this car to ALL the others you are considering. The car is correct, has no bent up chassis parts, no missing brackets or wrong engine parts. All Cadillac---All 1965. The 429 runs great the transmission shifts like it should. The odometer is working, but I have no idea if these are the correct original miles. Here is what I know about this car when I bought it. It was kept in a private senior citizens community. The "grandson" of the original owner sold it to me after his grandparents had passed on. I picked the car up in that area. He had taken the car to have it repainted however, The PAINT SHOP lost most ot the trim. The car went back to the house and sat ther for many months while the search for the trim went on. Meanwhile the clearcoat failed and the right rear 1/4 got bumped. The car sat until I bought the car. I picked up trim from eBay and other places and put it back on the car. Original Cadillac Color was code 49 Claret Maroon. Since the car had been owned by the grand parents who were now gone, the grandson did not know where the title was. So he requested a new title from DMV. He surrendered the original California Black Plates to DMV when he got the new title. I have transferred the car into my name and it is in "Planned-Non-Op" status. The Car Has Many original options including: Cruise Control Power Wing Windows Power Windows Power Trunk Power Seat Air Conditioning Tilt and Telescoping Steering Power Top Twilight Sentinel Headlight Dimmer Am/Fm Stereo Electric Antenna Of course some of these are standard in all Cadillacs of 1965, but just to be sure you are advised of these items, there you have it. The car was repainted some years ago and placed in storage, where the right rear received small damage and the paint clear coat began to fail. Notice the door panel arm rest boxes and not broken. The car is complete and is a correct as-delivered example of a very well optioned 1965 Cadillac Convertible. The car runs well and drives very good. The transmission shifts as expected.. The power brakes and power steering work fine. Four new radial white walls are on the car. There is a short video available and it is posted on the web. I do not know how to link it to the eBay listing. Will see if I can figure it out later! I have the clear title in my name. The car has been placed in California DMV “non-op” status. The car is advertised locally and will be sold to the first person that is ready to buy. Use Buy-It-Now to be sure you don’t LOOSE it. I have priced this car so that it can be purchased without hesitation. It is a solid car that will be an easy car to enjoy while some cosmetic upgrades can take place. The top is working, but low on fluid. The windows are working some times yes, sometimes no. same with the electric seat and other options. The car certainly drives very well, but needs attention to cosmetics and optional devices. YES, I have MANY photos I can send what ever you would like to see.
