Vehicle Detail

First, I want you to know that I am selling this for my uncle. He doesn't have internet access and has asked me to sell it for him. If you are a serious buyer, then I hope that you contact me with any questions. Still in excellent condition, this classic Jeep Truck is truly a great buy. 1984 was the only year that this particular model was sold. With the rumor that Jeep might bring a new truck to market within a year, this model would be a great bookend for a collector. As you can see from the photos, this truck has been kept in good shape. The engine is original with only 62,031 miles. The interior is in fantastic shape! Please keep in mind that if you buy this truck, it will need some reconditioning. With that said, this classic is in phenomenal shape. As an original-owner vehicle, this truck has been taken care of. The owner is a retired truck driver who really knows how to care for his vehicles. When he bought this truck, it was an instant classic and the talk of the town. I remember the day he brought it over to the house to show us. It was impressive then and its impressive now! And over twenty years later, it still runs great and still is the talk of the town. The engine is the original with only 62,031 miles. The interior is in fantastic shape! The leather is in amazing condition for the age. Does it run? I know that is the question on your mind. We want to be upfront about it. We are selling it "as is." Please keep in mind that if you buy this truck, it will need some reconditioning. Among the items that will need to be taken care of: a bit of rust around the wheel wells, work on the torque converter, a bit of rust around the exhaust pipes. Also, the battery is not in the truck. My uncle doesn't drive this daily (or much at all) and took it out because he didn't want it getting old in the engine bay. Also, the tires will probably have to be replaced. With that said, this classic is in phenomenal shape. As an original-owner vehicle, this truck looks pretty darn good. The last time he started the engine, a mechanic was present. There was not a problem: NO smoke or oil burn. As far as we can tell, the interior structure is solid with no interior rusting. I remember the day he brought it over to the house to show us. It was impressive then and it's impressive now! On Oct-12-11 at 17:02:34 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry about the dual entries! The second one is a better description. On Oct-13-11 at 19:11:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I am going to try to get underneath pictures on Sunday. I'm going to use a better camera than my iPod Touch! On Oct-17-11 at 17:25:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I just added a picture of the undercarriage. In looking at it today, this is representative of the truck. There is a little bit of rust here and there, but the frame is quite solid. I would have added more pics, but I'm at my limit and I couldn't remove my earlier pics. If you ask, I can send you more pics...if eBay will let me. Thanks for the consideration and good luck!On Nov-08-11 at 19:22:54 PST, seller added the following information: Just lowered the reserve! We want to get it sold!
