Vehicle Detail

1962 Studebaker GT Hawk red with red and white leather interior. Body off restoration a number of years ago, not by me but I basically have finished the car since I purchased it a few years ago. List of things that have been done to the car: Fame painted off the car, car painted a nice red but has a few scratches. Work I have done, New body mounts. I have installed a new leather interior (not vinyl), new headliner and carpeting, door panels, radio is a rare AM/FM model and has been restored with new front and rear speakers, new brakes and master cylinder, bumpers re-chromed, new weatherstripping, new trunk liner, dashboard repainted and new wood grained insert which is beautiful, new wiring harness, nice dual exhaust and clean undercarriage. A nice rust free car. There are other things that I have done to this car but I can't remember them all. Car has a 1964 289 engine V8, does not smoke, no oil leaks, runs strong, 4 speed transmission, power steering, power brakes. New battery. I have not driven this car much and the things that still need to be done yet are as follows: tach and speedometer not hooked up, mileage is not correct because of the missing cable. Temperature and oil gauge not hooked up. Car will probably need a proper tuneup even though the engine sounds fine. A few to many cars is the reason for selling. Low reserve. Inspections encouraged, car sold as is with no warranty. $500.00 down at end of auction balance due prior to shipping. Any questions feel free to call me. 608-526-3304 On Nov-05-11 at 07:55:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I was told this is a 1964 engine from the previous owner. I am not a Studebaker expert so you decide what year the engine is.
