Vehicle Detail

Aside from the front fender (that was missing, and we replaced) this TS250 is pretty much like we found it, where it spent the last ten years, out of the weather, in a garage in Colorado. We couldn't afford a restoration, so we hauled it home, stripped it down, and cleaned it up to see what it needed to get back on the road. It didn't need much! We cleaned the carb, replaced the plug, and it fired right up. We installed new seals, side gaskets, changed the oil, and put the engine back in the frame. I did clean the exhaust, and gave it a couple of coats of high-temp engine paint. Most everything else, frame, body parts etc. has original paint. The few things we did replace include: Hand grips, levers, tach and speedo cables, exhaust clamp, and spring, front tank cushions, petcock and gas cap seal. The inner gas tank has been cleaned and Kreemed. For a bike pushing 40, it cleaned up pretty good! The gas tank, of course, has a few nicks and bruises, and a dent on the left side that is small and shallow (see photos 1 and 2 above the K in Suzuki) and there's one small bruise in the upper corner of the side cover. Most of the chrome buffed out pretty good (some bubbles in the headlight bucket) The engine runs good, and is smooth shifting thru the gears. The clutch lever pulls smooth and easy and the throttle works good and springs back like it should. The oil injection is working and adjusted. The gauges work and the lights are functional (high and low beams on the headlight) and the tail light and brake light work. The frame is straight and the rims aren't bent. The tires hold air with no discernable weather cracking. One key fits all, the gas cap, ignition, and steering lock. The suspension is good with plenty of spring-back, and there don't seem to be any leakage in the forks. Clear title in hand. $300 Paypal deposit due within 24 hrs. The remainder due in 7 days. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer (I'll assist on my end) Bidders with 3 feedbacks or less or excessive negative feedback should contact me before they bid, to avoid cancellation. Weather permitting, I may deliver (for a fee) up to 300 miles. This bike is also for sale locally, so I retain the right to end auction early. NO RESERVE ! NOTE: We didn't install any turn signals, but I have a new set (with relay) that is included in the auction (will try to get photos shortly) if the buyer pays shipping.. Note: To those of you who didn't get the message, I ended my first auction to revise the photo section, and add better pictures. To those who have returned, thanks for coming back, and thanks for your patience.
