The Honda XR650L was the benchmark for the dual-sport class as it eats Baja races for breakfast and yet chooses to take its act on the streets, dirt roads, remote trails and forgotten byways. This bike has a powerful, electrically started motor on a rigid, but versatile chassis, and is one of the most versatile do-it-all motorcycles out there. The Honda XR650L made its entry on the incredibly demanding market in 1993 and was derived from the XR600R model that made serious impressions all through the 1990s when it was produced and successfully raced in the Baja 1000. The engine on the XR650L is an air-cooled, 644cc, dry sump, single-cylinder, SOHC, RFVC which transmits its power and torque through a five-speed gearbox. This bike has low mileage (5447 miles) for its age. I am 70 years old and have owned the bike for 7 years. Being an Enduro racer from the early 1970’s riding this bike in the fields around my home brought back some fond memories, but it is time to give it up. The previous owner didn’t ride it that much either, hence the low mileage. The bike is in excellent condition and the motor runs strong. The photos pretty much tell the story including some scratches on one side panel and minor ones on one side of the seat. The bike has new (less than 50 miles) Bridgestone Trail Wing dual sport tires, an FMF performance exhaust system, Maier bark busters, Maier 1Qt. Enduro jug, an extra gas tank (approx 4 Gal.), an extra countershaft sprocket (dropped one tooth), tool kit, Moose tire inflation kit, Moose handlebar cushion, the original owner’s manual, a Clymer service/repair manual, two Honda riders guides, and a clear title. Please look at the photos carefully and please ask any questions you might have. I am offering the bike with no reserve, so please do not bid if you are not serious about owning this bike. Conditions of the sale: 1. A $400.00 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction. 2. Paypal only for the deposit. See below for payment of the balance. 3. U.S. sale only. 4. Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping/picking up the bike. 5. Buyer is responsible for making all arrangements for shipping/picking up the bike within 10 days of close of the auction. 6. Balance of payment in cash (U.S. currency) due prior to shipping or on the day the bike is picked up. The transaction must be completed within 10 days of the close of the auction. If you have a low (zero-15) feedback score or negative feedback please contact me before bidding. Otherwise, I reserve the right to cancel your bid. Bike is sold as is. Good luck and happy trails!
