UP FOR AUCTION 1971 CUTLASS SX 455 CONVERTIBLE Y79, DOCUMENTED , MATCHING #S , IN REGISTRY BY ORIGINAL OWNER AND BY ME THE 2ND OWNER , No Reserve Selling to Highest Bidder Sold New in Bellevue Wa. alway was local car owned and maintained by the original lady owner from 1971 till 2008 when I purchased the car , it had original paint , rust free(no rust even under battery tray) very minimal door dings and looked super the way it was , check out the pics on SX455.com under (Alice J. Kane)and Jimmy Marks , I then added a Thorten w-25 ram air hood and functional air cleaner (still have stock hood and air cleaner) and base coat clear coat paint Viking Blue, and handpainted pin stripes, rebuilt the factory 4bbl carb and tuned up, the rest of the car is all original , 1of 357 ever built rarer than an LS6 chevelle, has to be one of the nicest around , has rare options like power windows , power top, power trunk release , AM 8 track , tilt wheel, all 1971 SX came with 455ci AT trans and bench seat and column shift, dual exhaust with tips like 442 handling pkg...this car runs and drives as good as they get ,smooth and powerful more like a luxury car / muscle car, always garaged , paperwork when new includes protecto-plate , warranty card , books and manuels, any questions call 253 576 4419 Jim at anytime , ...only offered for sale due to lack of use ...this car can be driven anywhere at anytime everything works great all lights gauges and options ... paint is super smooth and straight and looks better in person than photos the stripes on hood are burried in clear and has no paintlines all smooth, pinstripes are freehand painted and look great all around turn key car that is ready to enjoy now
