Up for auction is this sweet 1966 Volvo 122S station wagon (or Volvo 220 Estate). If you are looking for something different this car attracts attention. While just taking the pictures 3 different people stopped to talk about the car! It's such a great color it gets High Five's everywhere we go. The little car runs like a top with its Weber carburetor & Canon aluminium intake manifold (30mpg highway). It has a new fresh interior including seats, dash, door panels, carpet & headliner. The floors were sealed with POR15 to get it ready for its new interior. This car was painted about 20 years ago & still looks sharp with a great patina, it's a quality job but wasn't totally disassembled when painted, just carefully masked and sprayed with acrylic enamel which was standard for the time. This had the earliest series Volvo style (up to 1962) grill shell & grills installed so it looks different from the front than your average Volvo 122. The paint has been touched up here & there and has a very nice aesthetic aura, just don't expect a $10,000 type brand new finish. This auction includes the cars original wheels & hubcaps (with old marginal tires). Mileage shows 21000 & I assume its turned over but the true mileage is unknown. If your a Business owner who wants to draw attention to your company then park this Swedish treasure out front or use it in your travels because it attracts people.
