1974 Honda CL

CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Up for sale is a 1974 Honda CL 200 in absolutely amazing original condition. This bike is showroom clean and runs and rides great !! It was purchased from the grandson of the original owner so basically this is a one owner bike with a clean PA title in hand showing actual mileage. At time of purchase the bike had a blown head gasket. There was a very low mileage (6786 miles) CB200 engine (motor # CB200E-2007877) that was installed. It is the same basic engine. The speedometer from the donor engine was installed on the bike to reflect that mileage. I have the speedometer and original engine to include with the sale for the new buyer. The original engine can be refreshed and re-gasketed with a top end gasket kit, or leave the motor that is in the bike since it runs great. This bike truly is in fantastic condition ! Original paint and stripes. Paint is clean and shiny. Original chrome in beautiful condition. Look at the photos of the fenders, wheels and exhaust ! The motor is clean and polished very nicely. The bike has the original grey cables. Even the original seat is in great shape. Check out the photo under the seat. The frame is clean and paint looks great. There is brand new IRC tires, new battery, new air filters, and fresh oil change. The gas tank has been coated with POR-15 and sealed. Petcock valve, and carburetors are clean and work great. Rubber intake boots are in great shape. The original tool kit is in the bike. I do not have an original owners manual. The bike has electric start. The starter spins fine but does not engage. I have not diagnosed or removed the starter. The original motor also has the original starter. The kick start works great and bike fires right up on two kicks. This bike looks even better than in the photos. The PA inspection sticker just ran out 5-2011. This bike has not been stuffed in a garage for the last 30 years. It is a running rider. Everything else works on the bike. lights turn signals, everything. The motor is quiet, smoke free, and works great. Paypal is also acceptable however the purchaser will have to be willing to incur any funds transfer fees. Shipping of the bike is the purchaser's financial responsibility. I will be happy to recommend shippers that I have previously used. I will also be happy to reasonably assist in the appointment set-up and pickup of the bike. Obviously due to the age of this motorcycle it is sold in as-is condition with no actual or implied warranty.
