This rare 1954 Chevrolet pickup has belonged to the current owner for over 35 years. The truck is a 2 owner Chevrolet. It has been in indoor storage since 1980 due to a motorcycle accident and the current owner has not been able to drive it. This truck is not molested or modified in any way. It should not take major work to make it drivable as it was running great when it was placed in storage. It has not been started in several years but routine maintenance and fresh fluids and some rubber hoses may be all it takes. The body is extremely solid, and only a few minor dents (very minor) from the 1950's when is was actually used as a truck. The wood bed floor has been replaced and is in good shape. Both door window seals have been replaced. The buyer will receive many new parts that were never installed, headliner, rubber floor mat w/pad, door panels, new plug wires. A new right side mirror and turn signal set are also included along with various correct emblems. The engine is the original 235 six cylinder which is also the first year for rod bearing inserts. It has never been rebuilt but was running great at the time it was stored. 1954 Is also the first year for a one piece windshield. This truck has great potential for many different buyers. It could be freshened up and driven proudly to any cruise night looking just as it does right now. It could easily be restored to exact perfection as it is original and complete. It could be turned into a fabulous street rod as there is almost no metal work that would need to be done to the body. Odometer mileage is believed to be correct and the appearance of this truck backs it up. Buyer will be responsible for pickup and or delivery and will have to make appropriate arrangements.
