For sale 1967 Pontiac Firebird. This was a 326 V8 and powerglide car, silver/blue. Drivetrain I placed a new engine in the car and had a TH400 rebuilt. I purchased a Moser 12 bolt posi rear with 3:42 gears. I purchased the 400 engine block, bare heads and crank used then had them machined. All other parts in and on the engine are new. The fuel system is 100% new, this includes gas tank, fuel sender, stainless steel lines, holley pump, edelbrock carb. The pulley system is March serp and I added an electric water pump. New aluminum radiator. Brakes/Supension Brakes are 100% new, 12 '' rotors on all 4 wheels, master cylnder, brake lines. New Foose wheels, 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. I forgot to look at the tire sizes but they have less than 25 miles on them. I included a shot of the side of one of the tires to show it still has some of the nipples on it. I had Hotchkis springs and sway bars installed front and rear. The power steering gear box and pump were rebuilt, new hoses. New bushings and complete rebuild on front suspension. Body The hood is verry strieght, but I purchased a 400 hood with hood tach mounting. I have removed the front bumper/grill assembly and replaced the grills with 400 units and a new bumper. I replaced all the bolts on the bumper assembly and cleaned/painted the brackets. The rear fenders need body work, someone did some patchwork on them, but they really need replacment half fenders. The trunk is good, but there are small patches to the inner fenders. The car was painted gold a long time ago, and the last owner rattle caned gold paint in many areas. The exposed metal in the photos is me, I took a grinder to the body in several areas to see what the heck was under the paint. I have been working on the body for a couple of weeks, sanding, bondoing and useing black primer when finished. Interior The inside is in pretty good shape for being original. The rear seat has two seams at top seperated and the drivers seat cover has several rips. The dash pad is in great shape and carpet needs to be replaced. I have new floor panels ready to be installed. The front floor on dr side has a fist size hole under ebrake pedal. The pass side is worse with a hole in the same spot, but a thining of the metal arround that hole. This car had a colum shifted PG, but I installed a TH400 with a B&M shifter on the floor. Extras There are several parts that go with this car. Trany cooler, Grant wood wheel with install kit, rear and front spoiler, new still in sealled box power window kit with switches for all 4 windows. New 67 parking light assemblies with front lights wiring, new AC center vent and an old housing. I new center console with gauges. I have a box of misc parts that go with car as well. I have tryed to tell all on this car, please ask if you have any questions. This car has had 25 miles driven since I had a local car shop install the engine, trans, front & rear suspension, brakes, wheels and tires. This car has been sitting storage for a year and a half. I need to sell this car. Soo much has been done that this is a great car to continue on. Was last registered as running in 2010, now has a non-opperational title. I spent alot of money on this car, 4,700. for the car, over 6,000. for the motor, over 2,000. for the rear. I replaced or rebuilt all suspension with Hotchkis sway bars and springs, new brakes front and rear, spent 1,700. on wheels and tires. If this car doesn't this week, I'll part it out here on ebay as well as on Craig's list.
