Ok Buyers, This Vehicle is located it Maywood, IL. I’m going to try to describe this vehicle the best way I can. I’ve have this 97 Mercury Mountaineer since 05. I’ve never had any problems out the engine or transmission. Right now, it has a cylinder 7 misfire. I was told that a cylinder misfire is either a spark plug or wire. I’m not sure. I’ve had the front differential rebuilt. Despite of the misfire, the engine still does sounds good. The engine does shake a little because of it. I do believe that this, mountaineer need an alignment. The wheel that was on the driver side had wear on the inside so I removed it. Three of the tires are in good condition. I bought them a couple of years ago. The brake works great on it. The engine does have a little dust on it. I replace the master cylinder last year. The brakes are in good shape. The body of this mountaineer is held together pretty good. It does have a couple of dings from me an some rust spots as well. The driver’s door is missing the cover that does over the light on the door. The exterior door handle is a little weak but, it still works. The visor on the driver’s side has a small hole in it. The passenger seat has a small hole on the back as well. This vehicle can use a detail cleaning. As you can see in my photos, part on the front bumper is missing. All four doors open from the outside. The two passenger door only opens from the inside. The handles on the inside need to be replaced in order for them to work. This mercury has 202,853 on it.
