This is about one of the nicest 1965 Olds Ninety Eight convertibles you'll find anywhere and it's almost completely original. It's a one owner vehicle with only 90,489 original miles. Burgundy with black top and interior. Has a 425 V8 "Super Rocket" engine with automatic transmission. Original factory options include power windows, power bench seat, and cruise control. Car has been garage kept it's entire life and there is no evidence of any body repair anywhere. The only item that is not original is the paint. We believe paintwork may have been done some time in the 70's or early 80's and it doesn't appear to be an entire repaint. Looks like some of the panels might have been blended and other areas look to be original. The car is in fantastic condition for its age. There is no rust to be found anywhere and the paint is excellent. The worst you will find is a small group of light scratches where my finger is pointing at the right rear quarter. Black vinyl top is believed to be original and is in excellent condition. Back window glass is crystal clear. Motor for the top is working but some times it admittedly does need a little manual assistance. The interior is just as clean and original. Vinyl seats are excellent and clean. You can see on the front bench that one of the upholstery buttons is missing - we do have the button and it just needs re-attached. Back seat is excellent. Original carpets are excellent. Dash is excellent with no cracks. Power seats are excellent working and the power window motors are excellent and strong running. Not sure if the clock on the dash works or not. The original cruise control is a rare find but quite honestly that item is untested. Also check out the original bottle for windshield fluid under the hood. Pretty neat. Decals under the trunk are still attached and note the 1973 FOP sticker on the front windshield. Car is excellent running with no known mechanical problems. Tires are excellent and there are no items known to be needed for any safety inspection. Car includes all of the goodies the original owner left in the glove box including the owners manual and all the papers you see in the pics.
