1964 Le mans sport coupe. This car is originally from California. Still has California black plate on the front. It is a 2 door Le mans Sport Coupe with a 326 and four barrel carburetor. . You will be given a bill of sale as I could not find the registration. The car is missing the ignition switch, rear window,spare tire,jack, air cleaner and the radiator, along with the radio and its faceplate. This car also must have had aftermarket air which was removed before I obtained the car. The rear windows will not roll up due to the fact they are out of their tracks on the leading edge. The drivers door will not open from sitting.I tried to free it but don't want to damage the door. The car is solid in general and needs no body panels. The only rot is the quarter drops, and the trunk pan along with the floor pans. The floors are their but are pin holed from rust.There is some very very minor rust on the drivers roof edge. Probably the only piece needing replacement might be the filler between the rear window and trunk. The engine turns over and everything is there outside of the air cleaner and radiator. All the wiring is in good shape. The steering rag joint came apart from dry rot. I do not have the keys for the ignition or the trunk. We did remove the carpets and headliner some time ago to protect the car from any further rot. This car was painted before i purchased it and it is by far a really poor paint job but probably saved the car from rust. As far as I can tell their is virtually no fiberglass on this car.Almost all of the bright work is there and in decent shape. The engine might be correct and I can check for you if told how. It does also have a tag on the pass frnt head "STOCK NO C3084,REBUILT ENGINE,POWER PAK "with a power glide and 10 bolt rear. This car was not ever registered in The east as far a I was told. In general this is a great car to restore. I am an avid car nut and I am currently restoring a 65 Malibu because that one came along first. I do not have the time for this one and do not want it to get so bad that it becomes a rot box so I am hoping it finds a good home.
