Vehicle Detail
1955 Chevy that runs and lot drives. Purchased 11 years ago and has been in inside storage since. Don't have the time to put into the ol beauty. Car looks like it had older restoration when I bought it. It has the common 1955 rust spots, as I have tried to show in the pictures. Needs drivers floor metal, rear left truck, inner rockers, quarter panel work. Major items like the doors, hood, fenders, roof, trunk, glass, dash, grill are all in great shape for car's age. Nothing is missing- everything seems to be there. One knob on the dash is missing. The seats are all original, but need to be re-upholstered- as you can see in the pictures. It looks like most of the paint is original but it looks like there have been previous touchups. Original 6 cylinder runs real good. The person I purchased this from started to change the drum brakes over to disc brakes. One left front is done. The right side is in the trunk. Transmission shifts good. Brakes seem to work good. Original spare is in the truck, (See pics) It has rally wheels. the only thing I have done to this car since I bought it was change the oil, fuel filter, exhaust and new battery. That little bit of stuff and she fires right up after being in storage for over 10 years!!! I've tried to explain this car to the best of my knowledge and this car needs to be restored, and in my opinion, is a really good project car, especially if you are looking for a 55 Chevy!
