Vehicle Detail

All stock and original 1968 GMC 2500 Custom Camper. Runs and drives!! Factory 396 with the Turbo 400 trans and Power Steering. Drive it away. The original color is a salmon/coral color. It is an eastern Montana truck and it shows it. It is in nice condition. The canopy sitting on it is not included in this auction but can be purchased. The original seat cover under the after market cover is like new. The odometer shows 19K. I don't know if it 19K or 119K. The title is clear and ready to go. I am listing this for the owner. Give him a call with any questions. Mike at 406-783-7600. The truck is in Scobey Montana. On Oct-14-11 at 15:36:34 PDT, seller added the following information: More info on the condition. The current owner gave me some info that he was told when he bought it. The people who look at this and both the current and previous owner all say this truck has 19K miles on it and the odometer has not gone over 100K. The truck sat for many many years after the original owner passed. The previous owner bought it from the original owners family. The original owner bought it and put a slide in camper on it and he drove it to Arizona from N. Dakota twice. He passed while down south and it sat for many many years until the neighbor bought it. He drove it to Minnesota, Wyoming and then to Montana where it sits today. The underside of the truck is virtually like brand new. It is spotless and even the bushings are still new. The seat is like it has never been sat on. The previous owner had the heads pulled when he bought it because it puffed smoke when it was started. He wanted the valve seals replaced. That fixed that problem. The shop where it was done told him the engine still had the cross hatches in the cylinders and they believe the engine had the miles stated on the odometer at that time, about 15K. After the valve seals were replaced he then took it on the interstate trips and it now shows about 19K. I also believe the 19K to be the true and correct miles after getting under it and looking it over very closely.
