1978 Chrysler LeBaron Medallion I purchased this LeBaron from the original owner in 2004 and it had a little over 90,000 miles on it at the time. The LeBaron came equiped with a 318 cubic inch (5.2 liter) V8, a 2 barrell carburetor, and Lean Burn. I removed the intake and carburetor and replaced them with an Edelbrock performer intake and performer 4 barrell carb. Also, I replaced the radiator, thermostat, fan clutch, water pump, alternator, electronic voltage regulator, transmission kick down to lokar cable, timing belt to dual timing chain and the harmonic balancer. I had a mechanic replace the front brake hoses, master cylinder and front bushings & engine mounts plus I had him install air shocks in the rear. The tires are also relatively new in front. The LeBaron comes with leather interior, power drivers seat, air conditioning (needs to be recharged - currently R-12), AM/FM stereo, tilt steering wheel, cruise control (currently disconnected but it works), intermittent wipers, power windows (replaced most of the plastic gears but both rear windows have become loose - all motors work), power door locks, fender mounted turn signals, map light, and rear window defogger (all lines work). All exterior lighting works and the headlights were upgraded to Sylvania Silver Stars. The LeBaron now has 127,753 miles on it and the power train is strong. There are scratches on the hood which I tried to capture in the pictures and water collects in the trunk. The LeBaron was inspected through June 2011. Remember, this is a 34 year old car with scratches and dings and the front seats are worn but not ripped. The LeBaron is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS and there is no warrantee either expressed or implied.
