VIN Number has been added to the listing CS147B131047 No reserve auction! I have a 1967 Chevy Custom 10 small back window with a 69 front end. It was an original 3 on the tree with a straight 6 and now has a 350 chevy and a 4 barrel carb. It does decent on fuel but if you want 30mpg then keep looking. The trans is a 4 speed and with the original 6 cyl rear end it is geared kinda low. I have ran it on the freeway and it does sound like it runs a little high RPM range but with no tach I can't tell you for sure what it is running at. There is a tach in the truck but it is not hooked up and I have not tried it. The bench seat has no know visable flaws, the fenders, inner fenders and driver door were replaced by previous owner as well as the paint done by him. I believe the original color was light green. As for the bad: the rockers and a couple spots on the floor have holes, the speedo cable is not hooked up (I used my GPS to monitor my speed), the alternator needs a new bracket or shimmed as it thew the belt and cut the radiator hose. The clip in the driver door that connects the rod to the door latch broke $2.50 or less for the pack of 2. I just don't have the time right now to fart with it. You are welcome to come see it hear it run and take for a short drive but not to far as the water pump is not running with the belt off or it may overheat. This truck is loud with the pipes running up behind the cab and it does get heads turning. Radio was removed before I got the truck and I do have another set of heater controls for it. I really do not want to get rid of this truck but it sits now and I can't take my 7 month old in it at the noise it makes. Hopefully someone else will be able to enjoy this truck as much as I have in the short time I owned it.
