1968 Suzuki SUZUKI TC305 LAREDO

Up for sale is a 1968 Suzuki TC305 Laredo. This is a very rare bike and the first year of two that it was manufactured. This bike is as I found it in a garage covered since 1981. This is a very low mileage bike with only 5285 miles on the odometer. The engine and frame numbers match. The original owner could not locate the title so this bike will be sold as is with no title. I can provide a bill of sale if needed. Everything is original and the bike is complete minus the stock airbox. The paint on the top of the tank is faded some from sitting so many years and there is a small ding on the top back left of the tank as shown in the photos. The front fender has some dings. The inside of the tank will need cleaned out, its not too bad but it will need rinsed or lined. The paint on the headlight, fork ears and side covers is very nice, no fading and deep blue. The chrome on the bike is amazing, very shiny and no pitting or rust that I can see. The exhaust is fantastic and still has the baffles in place. I believe the tires to be original and they are in good condition. There are some scuffs on the engine covers as shown in the photos. The seat has some wear and a few tears in the fabric but the seat foam feels good, not hard or crumbly. The bike is not currently running but kicks over with compression and it static shifts through the gears with no problems. This is the bike we all love to find, complete and all original survivor bike in fantastic condition. I am offering this bike for sale one time, if it does not sell it is going in my personal collection due to its rarity and condition. This will be a very nice addition to any collection or a fantastic investment opportunity as vintage bikes are appreciating in value rapidly. I require a $250 deposit through paypal at auction end to hold bike and the balance to be paid within seven days. I accept many forms of payment, bank wire transfer into my business account, postal money order, or paypal. If the bike is not paid for within the allotted seven days I will keep your deposit and the bike. I will agree to hold and store the bike for up to 2 weeks after the auction ends so you can arrange for shipping. I can hold and store longer if needed for $100/month if you need more time. On Oct-26-11 at 16:57:56 PDT, seller added the following information: If you look at the photo of the rear view of the bike you may notice that the rear wheel is offset a bit in the photo. I measured the wheel both sides from the shock to the rubber on the tire and its off by about 5/16". I am not sure why as I have done zero work to this bike. It could be an axle spacer or that the wheel is not adjusted properly on the swingarm, I am not sure. The rear wheel spins fine so I do not think its a wheel bearing. I do not have the time nor do I want to restore this bike so its being sold as is and will need to be addressed by the new owner. I wanted to point this out before the reserve was met so everybody knows prior to the bike being sold. Thanks.
