For Sale by owner: Clean 1985 Ford F-250 Diesel. This truck came from California and has never been driven in the salt and the snow! Always stored inside. This truck is as clean as they come. Specs: 1985 Ford F-250 4x4 7.3L Turbo Diesel Super-cab Lariat. Automatic transmission. PW/PL/Cruise/A/C VIN: 1FTHX2614FKB29138 Miles: 13X000 This is a great truck for work or for play. I have done the following work to it. 8 new glow plugs with manual controller. Starts quickly and with no hesitation. New Vacuum pump. New front/rear brakes. The tires are 35" BFGoodrich and have less than 3,000 miles. Full-size spare included. Mileage is under 135K. Turbo spools up quickly and shifts easy. Aluminum tool-box is included! This truck is ready to drive right now. I drove it from Sacramento, California with no troubles. There are a few things that require some attention. The cruise control, speedometer, and the A/C do not work. I think there is a leak somewhere in the system. The speedometer went out on my trip from California. I think the gear inside the transmission is worn. The speedometer cable is not broken. The engine is a 7.3L IDI by International-Harvester. The engine is re-manufactured from a company called Dealer's Diesel. Google search the company for more information. NOT A JUNKYARD ENGINE. The engine is factory turbo-charged with an ATS Turbo. The current price to buy this engine is over $6,000. Both fuel tanks work. This truck has never had a fifth-wheel installed. The bed is uncut. It does have a receiver hitch and trailer wiring.
