This is an exciting find for a Ford muscle car enthusiast. This 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT has been partially restored and is in good working condition. It has a factory correct 351 Cleveland motor and a 3 speed automatic transmission which has been converted from a column shift to a floor shift. This vehicle has been well maintained and was purchased from the original owner, who performed the partial restoration on it in the mid-1980's. This vehicle would be great to drive as is, or could be a show car with a little TLC. If you are looking for a unique, fun-to-drive muscle car that can fit any budget, this is a great choice for you! Quick Facts: The Cyclone is Mercury's much rarer rendition of Ford's Torino and is based on the Montego frame. The Cleveland engine was an upgrade option on the 1970 GT. The headliner and interior were re-done during the restoration and are in great condition. There are some paint imperfections and scratches, as well as a crack in the dash. I have tried to capture some of these issues in the photos. Upgrades include high performance plugs and plug wires and a new performance carb. This vehicle has been relisted at a substantial discount from the original reserve price as I recently found out that my wife is pregnant.
