Vehicle Detail
1981 FIAT X 1/964,249 original miles. Fuel injected 1.5L with 5 speed trans.Daytona Yellow with Parchment (White) Interior. This car has been in storage for 13 years and garage kept almost the entire time. It has now been brought back to life and is ready for someone to drive and enjoy. I pulled the motor to do the work listed below and cleaned and painted every inch of it. There is not even dirt on the car - inside, outside, and underneath. This car is clean and ready to enjoy. New or Recent: Starter Clutch system – Clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing, master cylinder, and slave cylinder Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil change, and wipers Brakes – Rotors and Pads on all 4 Timing Belt Water Pump/Alternator Belt Ignition Control Module 2 Hand brake cables – these are not installed yet. Included with the sale. Almost every part was purchased from International Auto Parts and almost every inch of the car has been gone over. This is not a showroom new or perfect car, but it is a very, very nice driver. You won't win any awards at a car show, but you sure won't be embarrassed. The car has 0 miles on it since all of this work has been done. It is not plated or insured so I have not even driven it on the road. There may still be a few very minor things that need to be addressed because I have not driven the car - Keep that in mind if you are thinking about driving it home a distance. There are still a few small things that need to be done. The hand brake cables need to be installed, it has a working radio in it – but no speakers, and it is missing a piece of trim around the driver’s side headlight. There may be a few other very minor things, but I can't think of anything else. I would imagine that there might be some other small tweaking and tuning that would need to be done once it hits the road again. It is for sale locally, so I will end the auction early if someone puts cash in my hand. I am selling it to get a new project car for the winter. SO – I will consider a "trade + cash" situation if you have a project car or truck that sounds interesting to me – no bikes, boats, or trailers. This is a cash only sale, BUT I will accept paypal for any buyer that is buying from a distance and having it transported.Any transportation cost will be the responsibility of the buyer, but I work from home most days so I am available for a transport company. If you have any questions - feel free to ask - I check often and will respond ASAP. Thanks for looking.
