1968 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY COBRA GT500 ELEANOR TRIBUTE NEW PAINT WHEELS INTERIOR Up for auction is a nice solid California Mustang. It receives plenty of thumbs up and complimpents where ever it goes. Turn key car. It was recently painted Tungsten Silver with Tuxedo black Shelby stripes. The wheels were color matched to the paint on the car. Paint is single stage polyurethane metallic with integrated clear coat. Driver quality paint job, but still shows nicely. Also added were the: R Model apron, New Eleanor hood scoop New Eleanor trunk lid New Eleanor side scoops GT500 striping New billet grill Cobra pop open gas cap New Shelby GT500 trim and badges New front and rear bumpers New grill/hood moldings New rocker moldings New wheel well moldings New Eleanor style fog lamps Exterior body and floor pans are solid with visible no rust. Wheels are brand new PS Engineering 17x8" Eleanor wheels. These wheels are exact replicas from the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" special ordered from PS Engineering Inc.. The motor is a rebuilt small block 351 Windsor. Motor sounds and runs great! Sounds great! Transmission is a rebuilt C-4 three speed automatic. Transmission shifts great! Interior is in great shape with: Newer Sparco style Cobra Lemans bucket seats Newer carpet installed New door panels New kick panels New headliner Original deluxe seat belts New gauge cluster bezel and trim Factory overhead console new Road Gear AM/FM cassette player with IPOD/MP3 player input and dual 6" speakers Glass is all in good shape. Windows roll up and down fine. Brakes work good with drum brakes all the way around and newer brake master cylinder. Suspsension handles nicely with new air shocks in the rear and gas shocks up front. Undercarriage is nice and clean with no visisble rust. Trunk is nice with no rust, Original style trunk mat and spare included with car. Like any used car it does have some issues which include: Some of the gauges do not work, horn doesn't work, upper console lights aren't working, passenger door will lock works, but will automatically lock when door is shut, needs new battery tray.
