Vehicle Detail
1995 Buick Roadmaster Limited Wagon Color - Jadestone Green Metalic I believe I am the second owner of this vehicle, but I am not certain of that. I believe the car was originally owned by a Surveying Company. Then I believe it was late 2006 / early 2007 that a Dealer that specialized in large GM V8 rear wheel drive cars acquired the vehicle and then it was shortly following that time that I acquired it from that dealer. The car has served our family well. It really is the last of a true classic of a by gone era... It is equipped with the famouse 5.7L V8 LT1 Corvette engine...this vehicle is becoming more and more sought after.... we have never owned a vehicle that we have received so many comments on. The car rides wonderfully, has plenty of power and yet gets good fuel economy for its size and power. The following is a listing of some of the highlighted features of the vehicle - Power Seats, Power Mirrors, Power Windows, Cruise Control, Automatic Temperature/Climate Control, Leather Seats, Rear Window Wiper, Rear Window Defrost, Automatic Headlights known as Twighlight Sentinal, Vista Sky Light Window in the Roof, Adjustable Roof / Luggage Rack, dual exhaust, and the Factory Towing Package. Within the past year or so I have had the following done.... new radiator, new brakes all the way around with new rotors and new drums, new serpentine belt, new spark plugs, fuel filter and some other mechanic recommended things for general tune up etc... also since I have had it I have put on new shocks and new mufflers. The oil does get changed approx every 3,000 miles. Now for some points of interest with this vehicle: This is a used car that is 16 years old. Yes for a 16 year old car I think it is in good overall shape and I do feel that taken care of properly this vehicle has the potential to double and even triple its current mileage. But if you look closely you will find imperfections... i.e. a random stone chip or so in the paint, the grill has some fading which you can see in the photo of the hood ornament (by the way the hood ornament is not original to the car... the original one broke off when I removed snow from the hood the other winter - and then I found a Collector's Edition hood ornament on Ebay and put it on - the Collectors Edition hood ornaments are only found on the 96 models as that was that last year for the Roadmaster) and other general things you might see on a car that has 115k miles and is 16 years old.... it is all original. The back tailgate only swings out and not down... I don't know why and haven't done anything with it as it isn't really a factor for us. This started a year or so ago... one day it was fine and the next it was like that handle that you pull up on to release it like a tailgate was locked and you couldn't pull it up...? Since this day the light on the dash that says Gate Ajar has ever since been illuminated even though the gate is securly shut. The window wiper fluid to the rear window does not work... it didn't when I got the car and I've just never looked into it - the wiper works fine though. Tires - I did have a new set of Whitewall firestones put on a couple years ago, but I was planning to change them out once winter got here or if it wasn't real bad maybe wait until next spring.... as you can see in the photos the left rear is not a whitewall... this tire is a new tire as about a month ago the tire that was there got a penetration that was not repairable and I had to buy a new tire.... I do have a set of 4 Whitewall Winter tires that will go with the car... these tires were used for one winter season. This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty - a $135.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 72 hours via Paypal - the reaming balance is to be received by the seller no later than 10/29/11.
