Vehicle Detail
HI, I am selling my 1983 Honda Magna v65. I am going to try to make this listing simple by making a list everything i know that needs to be fixed on this bike and another list of the good thing on this bike. Here we go: Things that needs to be fixed; 1- When I bought it from the previous owner he told me that he was on the bike with the kickstand and he released the clutch forgetting that the bike was in 1st gear so the bike jerked and fell on its’ side. This drop mad a ding in the tank (no fuel leak) and broke off one of the bolts that hold the tank to the frame and so now the tank held in place by a zip tie ( cosmetic probl;em only look at the picture). 2- Speedometer is some time is shaky, but it works every time. 3- There is a leak. I do not know exactly what is leaking, so I took a close picture of where it is leaking ( look at pictures). 4- There are 2 fuel lines in this motorcycle, a large diameter one that feed the reserve tank and a small diameter one that feeds the carbs. I personally replaced both of them. Bothe are now new, the large one was replaced by the original, but not the small one. The bike some time does not want to start Because of this the small fuel line does not feed fuel properly to the carbs because it is kinked. The bike will start every time if you make sure the line is not kinked. The original line cost about 7 dollars on bikebandite.com 5- The right plastic cover has a very small crack and the lefty one has one pin broken. Bothe do not affect the mounting of the plastic cover and both are visible from very close distance. 6- The stalks or the rear signals are a little loose. The good things: 1- Bike has a new clutch and a new master cylinder installed. 2- The gear, gear indicator screen, turn signals, turn signals indicator, lights, brakes and everything else is in perfect working order.
