Stunning Original 1965 Cadillac Calais Coupe I have too many cars so I’m thinning out my collection and this is another incredible low-mileage original car I’ve decided to let go of. This is a beautiful, totally unrestored and unmolested 1965 Cadillac Calais Two-door Hard-top Coupe in unbelievable original condition inside and out. With just over 34,000 original miles, it runs and drives beautifully and everything works like it should, even the clock! The original interior is in fantastic condition and everything works.Mechanically, the engine and transmission run excellent with no issues at all. In fact this car runs so quiet you can hardly hear it at a stop light. The original numbers matching engine runs strong and smooth like a Cadillac should and starts right up on the first turn of the key. The engine compartment is all stock and beautifully detailed. The radio plays crisp and clear, all lights, blinkers, horns, antenna, power seat, windows and locks work perfectly. This car is an amazing time capsule. The car was purchased new in Ohio and lovingly cared for its entire life. Documentation includes the original owner’s manual, original warranty booklet stamped by Clark Oldsmobile-Cadillac, Inc, in Newark, Ohio, a Cadillac Protect-O-Plate with the original owner’s name in it (Ms. Cora. E. Wolverton). I also have the original window sticker, which is made of a delicate parchment paper that was lovingly removed and preserved since new. There’s also an official accessories guide and the car’s original invoice showing a price of $5779.40 and an out-the-door price of $5155.00 on April 8, 1965. There are a lot of these Cadillac's out there but they are never this nice. Most need a lot to make them nice but not this car. The original paint is beautiful with very few minor (nearly unnoticeable) flaws, the original interior is unbelievable. No restored car can even come close in comparison and the value of these rare original cream puffs is rising fast. Just drive it, show it and enjoy it. The pictures speak for themselves.
