Vehicle Detail

I LOWERED MY RESERVE PRICE....This auction is for my 2000 Lincoln Towncar Limousine. Made by LCW out of San Antonio Texas. This is a "Cloud series" Bowtie model with Black cloth top and Pearl White Painted 120 inch which seats 8-10 passengers. I have only owned it a short time (6 months) and put 5k miles on it & 1600 of those miles were getting it home from Chicago Illinois. Drove good with no issues. I purchased this car to start up a business to add with my wifes photography business earlier this year so it's my first limousine. It's still being used in service currently. I have been making $120-$150/ hr during the Late Spring to Summer (no kidding) It has been a great first year for myself being my first limousine but it could of been better since I had to turn down too many potential client's with requests for a larger Limo like a H-2 with more seating capacity. This Limo is almost entirely being used for Weddings, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, and wine tours. So it get's almost all of the usage time on Weekends. I have some clients for trips to Boise during the weekdays which is an hour drive from here. I purchased this car in Chicago and had to drive it back here to Idaho, and it ran great. I didn't get any information out of the previous owner so I had to basically start from scratch on getting familiarized with it. The previous owner didn't even have a owners manual for it. One thing I do know is back in 2006 there was supposedly some kind of fender bender, so the previous owner had it fixed and repainted the entire car with a new pearl white paint. Then he sat it in his parking lot of his business for 4 years and didn't hardly even use it. Not getting much information or any paperwork, on the maintenance history I had to evaluate what it needed once I drove it home. The engine is the 4.6 litre v-8 and I am getting an estimated 22 M.P.G.on the interstate. Brakes work great, tires have about 75% tread life left. Has a new spare in the trunk. The first thing once I got it home I took it to my mechanic and he suggested to replace the timing chain, and guide as it was all still original with over 200k miles. I spent $1600.00 for that repair. Even with 215k miles now the engine does not smoke and passed emissions. I then had the A/C serviced and checked for leaks. They put on a new a/c evaporator because the old one had a crack. I put in a new auxillary battery and found the fiber optic lights would not work, so I located where the light source box was and replaced it with a brand new single port with 4 different colors. The original fiber optic source box was burnt out. I did this after I got in touch with LCW to purchase a $170.00 CD repair manual they had to custom make off the VIN #s and LCW got me in touch with an aftermarket limo replacement parts company I have been doing business with since. So I got the back neon lights working again. I took pics of where some very small surface rusts areas are starting to occur. The under carriage looks actually pretty decent for where this car has been all it's life. There are small areas near the driver side passenger side, and rear passenger side door jam where rust is starting to occur. The under carriage and frame still have undercoat protection for the most part. The exhaust had some rusted area so my mechanic fixed a portion where it was rusted and there are no exhaust leaks or bad spots. The one thing I recently had happen is the overdrive does hesitate to allow the car to excellerator after 35 m.p.h. unless you drop it to second on the column. (it is auto transmission) If you disengage the overdrive it works perfectly. I haven t used the overdrive. I took it to my mechanic and he suggested to change the fluid and check the fluid screen. I have not worried too much about it because it drives and shifts fine without it. There are a couple minor electrical issues. The rear passenger, and driver front power windows are stubborn to get to go up once they are down. The switches are working fine, the contacts are needing cleaned. There are 3 coolers in the bar, 3 champaign tubs, 8 wine glass holder ring, and 14 beer or scotch glassware holders. The bar is split into two areas, the main bar is on the passenger side, and a smaller bar is directly behind the drivers seating with a cooler. Once I fixed the neon lights I noticed the cloud shaped ceiling mirror has star gazing lights, and fiber lights and the bar area and fiber lighting at the partition. There are passenger controls in the rear for the auxillary power to control the partition, rear A/C & heating, mood lighting , bar lights, and rear interior lights. There is a rear stereo with CD and MP-3 player hookups. There is a t.v. also. Up front there is only one seat for the driver (made this way from the factory) and where a passenger side would be is the main control panel with the power mastercon power supply to energize the rear with relay switches and computer boards power to the rear. On the dash are the drivers master controls for the rear. Car has heated power mirrors, digital battery charge indicator for auxillary mounted on the ceiling. AM/ FM stereo in dash. Power driver seat is leather and shows usage with wear. The rear seating is in 3 sections the rear facing backward seat 3 with no signs of significant wear (looks almost new). Along the driver side is a 4 passenger bench with no signs of wear. The very rear passenger seat seats 3 has signs of usage with a tear in the rightside. The seats all are black and silver two tone. The carpet has one very small burn spot from previously owners. I do not allow smoking or food in this Limo. The carpet gets cleaned atleast once a month and is overall in very decent condition for 11 years old. The bar has a black faux marble finish. The rear doors work and do not sag or have any no defects. The very back deck has two speakers, a tissue box, and garbage hatch (to the trunk) I have two intercom phones but neither were working since I got it and I found a brand new pair for $150.00 on a website for limousine parts and accessories. The interior is in good condition and clean. Like I said earlier this car is being used almost daily so the mileage might change by the time the auction expires. Overall the car is in nice condition but it's not perfect and is ready for use. If you have any questions Please ask. I will do my best to answer you.
