Vehicle Detail
I bought this car around 18-24 months ago. I collect mostly pre 1963 mopars. I bought the car thinking I'd start getting into muscle cars. I drove the car less than 100 miles since I've had it. I have found myself driving the cars we restored ourselves. I bought this car as a "restored" car. As we all know, everyone describes "restored" differently. I've spent about 3 weeks on this car preparing it for sale so I could give a 100% accurate description of the car. The previous owner did 99% of the work. I just cleaned up details to make sure the next buyer would be happy with the car. The car has an amazing paint job, which you'll see. Car is very straight. Everything according the previous owner and from what I can verify, this car is loaded with new pieces. It has new interior, new bumpers, new emblems, etc. The past few weeks, I've done the following: New Gas Tank and pick up Speedometer cable dash light bulbs replaced transmission completely rebuilt installed rebuilt dacco torque converter changed anti-freeze Now here are the things that need attention, all of which I took pictures of so you can see for yourself The gauges don't work in the car. I imagine this is a circuit board issue that just needs to be replaced The headliner needs to be redone if you want the car to be perfect. As you can see from the pictures it's wrinkled. The previous owner had brake fluid come out from the master cylinder and it has caused the paint to peel on the lower frame rail. If I had not used the flash, you would hardly notice it. Needs a glove box liner . Those are the only major things I'd look at. There are some tiny details, such as replacing the rear view mirror holder that would complete the small details. This is NOT A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR. Otherwise this is an amazing car that someone can get in and drive RIGHT NOW. I drove this car around 50 miles the past week just making sure everything was ok. It rides just fine. This is a really nice car that just needs a new home . I have 4 cars that I'm finishing within the next 6 months and I know I'll never drive this thing. This car has been in controlled climate warehouse with my other cars and remains there today. I can hold the car for as long as needed, as long as payment is arranged. The reserve for the car is 17,500. I feel this is a very fair price for the car. I am not looking to trade as I have too many cars as it is. Below are all of your pictures, please take plenty of time to look over them before asking any questions.
