Vehicle Detail
1983 mustang GT, 2 Owner vehicle in great condition. I have owned this car since 1987 and have always taken care of it. The car is not perfect but the best thing I can tell you about it is that it is original. This car looks the same as the day it was made. It has not been cut or hacked up, no aftermarket features, or any modifications. Has the original rims, original radio, and the original look. Loaded with options including locking T-tops. the only options it does not have for the model year are cruise and power door locks. I have always maintained it and have been taking it to the same mechanic as long as I have owned it. It had an oil change the beginning of the summer and recieved a clean bill of health. The interior is in great condition, a little faded of course but all there. There are 2 small holes in the rear seat. The car even has the original locking lug nuts with wrench. I have an extra set of rims and tires and a set of T-tops you can have if you want. The car runs and drives great and has plenty of power. The steering and brakes are tight and the 5-speed is flawless. The heater core has been disconnected for probably a decade. The A/C works but I never use it and it would need converted/recharged. There are 2 small rust bubbles on the outside top of the A post. The rear bumper cover has a few small yellow spots showing through the paint. There is a small paint patch on the rear bumper below the door guard that could have turned out better but it is'nt really noticable. There are a few other scratches on it mostly from sitting in the garage (I love my children). As I said it is not perfect but a very clean original car. I hate to see it go but someone else can enjoy it and drive it. I really think this 1979-1986 model years are gonna go up in value soon but I am just looking for a reasonable bid. Any questions or concerns please e-mail or if you want a specific picture either. I prefer Paypal but we can talk about it. $8 hour deposit. I will assist in shipping in whatever reasonable way I can. I should have added that the car was repainted in either 90 or 91 I cannot remember for sure. Refrence the failed emissions testing on the vehicle report. Ohio has one of those useless EPA testing requirements for license plates in certain counties. I remember taking the car in and it not passing because of some small amount of whatever air particle. Honestly I just kept driving on expired plates and rolling the dice with the cops because the car did not leave the garage that much.
