1965 Ford Galaxie XL convertible.390. Less than 500 miles on rebuilt motor. My friend got the Gal about 8 years ago He started off with good intentions for this Gal, (Dont we all). It was a good resto canidate. Rust free pans.First he had the motor rebuilt Then had the paint done, Front disc brakes conversion. Started on the interior and then stopped for a while...Life got busy. Then within the last couple years his interest in Gal came back and she sports a nice dual exhaust system, New convertible top.Seats. Parked in his garage /Driveway. Started regularly, few drives around the block and she waits....He replaced the dash with a dash from a 500 Galaxie that was an AC car so that is wrong this was not an AC Gal. This Gal will need some TLC to have her back in full dress. Fuel tank/system or maybe just the fuel filter needs attention from sitting. I'll try to get around to it ;-) Shame. Theres lots of parts trim, accessories.
