1998 Honda Valkyrie

Up for auction is an absolutely stunning 1998 Honda Valkyrie. I bought this bike in 1999 from the original owner because he wanted a Gold Wing. It currently has 13,795 actual, pampered miles on it. I rode it the other day and twice when I stopped for gas, I was asked if it was a brand new bike. Most people consider me to be beyond anal in taking care of my stuff, and it shows. The last time this bike was ridden in the rain was in 2001. It has never been down or damaged. There is not a mark in the paint. The original owner put just about every piece of chrome that was available at the time on this bike, and it's all in great condition. The bike was originally a blue and cream Standard, and I had it professionally painted using Honda paint, Hot Rod Yellow and Pearl White. The paint looks like it was shot last week, it still looks that good. The bike has been extremely well maintained and is in top condition both cosmetically and mechanically. The tires and battery are good. I will guarantee that you will be amazed at the condition of this bike. It is spotless. The Viper exhaust has a nice rumble without being too loud. Also included with the bike are an adapter to use with motorcycle lifts and a motorcycle cover that's only been used once. This bike was kept inside so a cover was not necessary. I bought it to use on a trip because they were calling for rain, but it didn't rain. Please study the pictures and you will realize how extra-nice this Valkyrie is. I doubt you will find one this nice and with this low mileage. The ONLY thing I know of that needs attention is the clock. It's an aftermarket piece and the chrome is peeling in one place, and the clock itself doesn't work (probably needs a battery). Other than that, this bike is pristine. The bike is located in Springfield, MO. You are welcome to inspect it before bidding. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I will cooperate with the shipper. Or better yet, ride it home and enjoy the great Ozarks fall scenery on the way. A $500 depost is required at auction close and the deposit is requested to be made by Pay Pal. The balance due must be by cashier's check or cash.
