Wonderful Fiat Spider here for sale! Hard to find in this condition with no rust. The body is very straight and there are no hidden bondo panels or cover ups on this one. As you can see the undercarriage is very clean. The entire front end was rebuilt on this car. The shocks, bushings, tie rods, ball joints, sway bar completely redone. Complete new brake systems front and rear including new calipers, rotors, pads, hoses The entire engine along with all components was removed from this vehicle. The engine compartment was painted with the engine out. The body was painted at this time too. The engine was rebuilt including machining the head, new pistons, bearings, seals etc. A new weber carburator was installed, new fan assembly, new alternator, new fuel pump hoses too. New battery Cat back exhaust was replaced and new muffler New tires front and rear - rims were painted black with gold metal flake. A new clutch pressure plate and throwout bearing installed. The rear end was gone through and replaced with a very good replacement. This Fiat runs like a new car and shifts very smooth through all gears. Suspension was also done in the rear with new shocks and bushings. A real pleasure to drive this one, and it is very reliable. I've been driving it daily for the past 2 months All signals, marker lights,back up and brake lights, headlights high and low work. Horn works as well Jvc cd player and pioneer speakers. Defroster fan works too. Wipers work The clock does not work Speedo needs new cable, it works but not accurately All other gauges work Dash board is excellent with no cracks All lenses are crisp and bright no cracks Overall a very nice example of a 1979 Fiat 2000 Can be driven anywhere and is ready for fun.
