1959 Unimog 411, hardtop, diesel, 6-speed trans, front and rear pto's, roll bar, excellent tires and rims. It was running when I first received it but very hard to start. Running gear is good, it ran fine through all gears and 4wd. Old paper work shows new clutch, exhaust, brakes, shocks and tires. Inspection of engine revealed low compression and will need to be rebuilt. I had the fuel injection pump rebuilt by specialist. Has been sitting for a few years and hasn't been started since. The frame is excellent with some surface rust. Body is poor with rust, bondo repairs in doors, will need to be restored. Plexi windshield, door glass cracked, vent glass plexi, rear glass excellent. On Oct-08-11 at 12:46:26 PDT, seller added the following information:Many people have asked if it can be started to load on a transporter. Well, if I could find the time I could get it started but the transporter will never figure it out if they have to move it. I can load onto any carrier or possibly deliver at a reasonable cost if not too far away, say west of the rockies. Try to find a transporter that could keep it in one place on the trailer until delivery, or??. It is a small, vehicle and could be pushed around manually.
