Up for auction is a 1998 Chevrolet Corvette with a Florida Salvage Title. This Corvette was a pristeen sample of a 1998 c5 until it was involved in a minor single car accident.This Corvette is fully equipped with all the standard Corvette options : tilt wheel p/w p/b cruise, premuium later model chrome wheels tires are in good shape, red leather interior, glass roof, aftermarket stereo, factory security system, everything you'd want from a c5 Corvette. The car still runs and drives ,a/c still blows cold, accident did not get into the radiator , There does seem to be some minor suspension damage , however I have not looked under the car to pinpoint what it is. The car was driven from accident site back to our lot about 3 miles so it is driveable. The interior on this car is in fantastic shape, better I would say than you would expect from a 50,000 mile car it is all there ,however the panels in the rear storage compartment are loose in the rear where the ins. adjuster removed them while writing estimate.There are still a lot of good parts on this corvette as you can see in the pictures, the eng . and trans. are in great working order with just over 50,000 actual miles, the speedo cluster is in good working order, there is an aftermarket flip down screen radio, the power seats are in good shape with some menial wear on the drivers seats left bolster. AIRBAGS WERE NOT DEPLOYED!!! Now to the body, the pics should give you a great idea of the damage, the right passenger front fender appears to be intact and useable, the right door is intact opens and closes correctly, the panel gap between the passenger front door and the passenger rear qtr panel is still good. The right rear qtr panel is damaged as you can see in picture. The rear bumper is damaged but the taillights and tag bracket are still in tact and in good condition. The rear hatch and back glass are still in great shape. The left rear qtr panel is in good shape and useable. The left front door opens and closes with ease the door to qtr gap is good does not appear to be pushed back. The left fender is damaged. Front bumper is damaged . Left head light survived, the right headlight lid is broken , I did not try to open the headlights in fear of damaging them but they did work properly before the accident! Right rear wheel is damaged.all glass is in good condition. I have been as discriptive as possible and taken the best pictures I am able to.
