1975 Suzuki RM

This 1975 Suzuki Rm125 started out as a low hour never raced motorcycle. Being the second owner of this bike I totally restored this bike starting by Sanding blasting frame, swingarm, shock springs, engine motors, braking arm and kick stand. Those parts were then professionally powder coated black. The lower end of the Engine was completely rebuilt with new bearings, seals and gaskets. The top end is orginal and falls within proper clearances. Hardware was either replated or replaced with Suzuki OEM fasteners. Footpegs, kick starter, rear brake pedal and shift lever were replated. Triple clamps and fork lowers polished. Many new parts including NOS magneto cover, swingarm bushings, new chain, sprockets, seat foam and cover, all new cables. Dent free gas tank was repainted Suzuki yellow, plastic was replaced with new. Exhaust pipe was hand built by a professional pipe builder to the orginal specs using the 1975 Rm125 kit pipe, It is a work of art and I couldn't paint it black so I clear coated it using high temp paint. New tubes and Cheng Shin tires 300x21 and 350x18 which are period correct There is a slight bend on the cross bar, it should be noted that these are the orginal bars, clutch and brake levers and orginal grips. Orginal chain guide is slightly damage but in usable condition. Tank has some rust inside, should be sealed if you are planning to race the bike. The Suzuki 1975 RM125m was a pivotal change in motocross design, these bike were available late in 75 as the Suzuki 125 started the 1975 season out as the TM125. This bike is a nice example of the first production Rm125m and would be a nice addition to anyones collection.
