Time to sell my AMG. This is the real deal, not a 430 or 320 with an AMG badge stuck on it. One of less than 1500 AMG coupes imported to the US for 2001, it was the fastest production Mercedes to date. The only production car beating it to 60 mph in 2001 was the Porsche Turbo. Don't buy a 320 or 430 until you at least drive one of these. I've owned this car since '09 and it has been well maintained, adult driven and garaged on my watch. It's been my daily driver and is a real joy to drive. The big V8 has plenty of torque, but it still get's pretty good mileage on the highway (25ish on recent trip to Chicago)... Not bad for 340 hp Everything works well, with the exception of the contouring seat option. There's a few missing pixels on the dash. The headlights have the usual Mercedes dullness and it has it's share of teeny little road chips. The two-tone interior is nice with exception of some wear on drivers bolster. Michelin Pilots are at about 30%. There's some rash on the wheels.(see pics) , but overall it's a really nice car and I would drive it anywhere. A/C is cold. It has a new battery and recent crank sensor replacement and I just spent over $500 at a local body shop having most of the chips touched up, paint buffed and fresh wax. It currently has Eibach springs, which drop it just a tad, but original AMG springs will be included. It has a cassette tape stuck..but I don't own any so haven't bothered ... original 6 disc changer in trunk works fine. Although I've bought several vehicles on Ebay, this is my first time to sell one. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I'll answer as honestly as I can.
