1975 GL1000R painted 76 Sulphur Yellow. I modeled this bike after Mike Brown & Randall Washington's 75 Goldwing Endurance Racer. The bike handles very well with the front forks dropped about 1/2" and she will keep up surprisingly well with today's crotch rockets. Below is a list of modifications. 1980 Suzuki GS1000s fairing. Corbin "Gunfighter" seat. Ducati 888 exhaust cans. Honda CB1100F adjustable handlebars. Harley tailight. Bridgestone Battlax tires Randakks High Performance front brake master cylinder. Randakks Spin-on oil filter adapter. Randakks Italian grips. Electric Fuel pump. VDO oil pressure gauge. Braided Stainless steel front brake lines. Rebuilt carbs. Fuel tank etched and sealed with U.S. Standard Tank Sealer from POR 15. Rebuilt forks with new seals and dust caps. New water pump. New timing belts. Upgraded to 1978 large universal joint. NGK Iridium spark plugs. Dynatek Electronic Ignition. Dynatek Ignition coils. Recent valve job, with new exhaust guides. Spare front and rear wheel assemblies including rear end cluster. Spare radiator. Extra engine.
