This is my 1978 Ford Fairmont. It is the first Foxbody ford produced. This car runs and drive excellent (it is my daily driver). I have owned the car for over a year now and it has treated me well and now I feel that its time for someone else to enjoy it. I am the second owner and the car has 57K original miles. It is a basic car which makes it a great candidate for a v-8 swap. It has a 3.3l straight six (and runs like new) with a c-4 transmission. The ten hole rims are in excellent condition and the tires are like new. It has a 1991 mustang GT front sway bar and end links. A B&M shift kit was installed last month (I have the original springs and plate which goes with the sale) It has new belts, struts, plugs, wires, cap , rotor, exhaust and much more. All the maintainace and oil change have been professionally done. The interior is in great shape and has a new Sony Xplod Radio and all new speakers at all four corners. The seat has a small separation in the driver bottom (about a inch or so) but is not bad at all. The headliner sags a bit also. All the factory gauges and internal switches work as they should. The heat is hot , It is a non- A/C car . The fly windows work fine as well as all the lights/wipers/horn etc. The body and chassis is virtually rust free which is why I bought the car in the first place. It does however have a couple of spots on the driver door skin that have rusted but are easily repairable. The car is washed multiple times weekly so the paint shines well but does have wear and some dings which is expected for a 33 year old car. The vinyl top is in good shape with no tears or rips. Overall this car is in great shape for its age.I have described it to the best of my ability. I feel this car will make the new owner happy whatever he/she decides to do with it . It would make a great race car with its low 2600lb weight , or a fun cruiser like i used it for. Please do not bid on my car if you do not intend to buy it. Your bid is binding contract.
