This is a no reserve auction but the car is also being advertised locally for $8000.00 For sale is a 1977 Porsche 911S sunroof coupe. If you know 911s, you will appreciate some of its features. . I have driven many 911s of various years and for whatever reason, this particular car is a really good one. The specifics (the good and the bad): 3.0 liter motor out of a 1980 911SC (930/16) and runs fantastic 915 magnesium gearbox (original box. shifts great and needs no work at all) 15x7 inch wheels with new tires Boge shocks up front, KYBs in the rear very little rust. some up front under the headlights and a little just starting on the passenger side door sill. (see pics) decent interior. passenger side seat has a tear. carpet kit is complete, but worn MSD 6A ignition box manual windows and locks aftermarket Sony stereo has a catalytic converter but no muffler. It sounds great and will pass emissions even in California. If you have been wanting to step up to a good earlier 911 without wanting the expense of an SC or maintenance of an early model, this is a perfect car. It's got sway bars, bigger brakes, a good 3.0 liter motor and is relatively cheap. This is a lot of car for the money. Fix it up at your convenience, or drive it like it is.
