1969 Buick Riviera 430 V8, automatic transmission. It is an original 42 year old car but it has survived well. It attracts attention and I get a lot complements and Questions. It is in need of a complete restoration to be a show car. Runs and Drives well. I drove it about 300 miles this year. Motor runs and accelerates well. Transmission shifts and pulls well. Is has New shocks and sway bar links on front. New lower control arm and new bushings on both upper and lower control arms on drivers side. New choke pull off. It has a new electric fuel pump. An electric fuel pump in the tank like a modern fuel injected car is original to this Riv. Most 69 Rivs have a mechanical pump. Fuel tank has a large dent but holds fuel. Sending unit will need replaced to make fuel gauge work. Heater works, A/C does not. Steering box leaks fluid. It has one very good tire and other 3 are old and wore down. Front fender has large dent on passenger side. Both front fenders rusted behind wheel. Drivers front inner fender rusted out below battery tray. Driver’s door has large dent. I know where there is a strait driver’s door on a parts car near me. Rear quarter panels both have rust over lip of wheel well. Rear inner fenders have very small holes. Floor pans are good. Trunk floor has hole over top of the axle. The dash pad is in great condition. Seats need upholstered, carpet and headliner need replaced. I have a set of Original Crome Buick Rally Wheels that I would sell for an additional $75. A lot of the parts needed to restore this Riv are available through Original Parts Group Inc.
