I am selling this car for my Mother who has driven it for the past two years. Prior to that, the car was purchased by my father in June of 2007 in Tulsa Oklahoma with 47,000 miles on it and has been in my family since that time. There was one owner before him and previous to that, it was owned by a BMW of North America Executive. The car currently has 71,000 miles on it, and is in extremely good condition. It has been meticulously maintained, and we have a maintenance file one inch thick to prove it. Some recent work includes: new navigation unit, fuel pump, new exhaust, thermostat, inspection II, drive shaft flex disc, new shift bushings, water pump, intake gaskets, crankshaft oil seal, belts, cleaned MAF's, etc. The car is ready to go, and the receipts with go with the car. The exterior is in gorgeous shape. There isn't a spot of rust, or a single ding on the car. There are a few small stone chips, but this is to be expected and there is nothing out of the ordinary. The interior is also in exceptional condition. All of the power options work perfectly including the Bluetooth, tire pressure monitoring, mirrors, seats, navigation, etc. The car also has a CD changer in the trunk which works flawlessly. I was asked by several people during a previous listing if the car had ever been driven in the winter / snow. I can assure all the bidders that the car has not. As mentioned, we purchased it in Oklahoma where there is no snow, and since it has been in our possession it has been stored (under cover) in a heated garage in the winter months. The M5 runs and drives beautifully without hesitation. The 6-speed manual shifts with ease, and the syncros are working well. The clutch grabs properly and doesn't have any slippage or chatter. The tires are in fine shape. The fronts are showing at about 75% and the rears at about 40%. The car comes with UUC Corsa stainless steel exhaust from the cat back. The car sounds absolutely amazing. Under full throttle the 400hp V8 really comes alive, but under normal driving conditions it behaves nicely. The wheels that are on the car are genuine AC Schnitzer type III racing wheels. They are a three piece wheels that retails for $2500 each! The car also has a Jim Conforti Shark Injector currently installed, which adds some horse power, remaps the fuel delivery and eliminates the top speed limiter. I should mention that we had the car emissions inspected prior to the installation of this remap, and it passed in July of this year. This is recorded on the Autocheck that Ebay provides. However, even though this remap makes the car more enjoyable to drive it will most likely need to be removed prior to, and then reinstalled after, testing if you need to have the car emissions tested in your state. This shouldn't be an issue because the Shark Injector allows for the removal and re installation when desired. Thanks, Chris ***Update 09-28-11*** As of today, the car has two new MAF's (Mass Air-Flow Sensors) on it. As you might have read above, I had them cleaned a couple of weeks ago but it actually threw a check engine code over the weekend. Not to worry though, I took it in and they have been replaced with new. I kept the boxes and the receipt to give to the new owner. The car is running GREAT. In fact, it seems to be running smoother, and have more throttle response then before. I am pleased that this occurred before the auction close (and I was able to have it fixed) so there will be no disappointments with the new buyer. I also thought that I should mention that after an extremely close inspection, I have found two very small dings on the car. One on the hood, and one on the passenger front door. They are both very small, and the new owner might not have noticed them. However, in the interest of full disclosure I thought them worth mentioning.
