Up for your consideration is a barn fresh 1956 AJS 18 CS. The bike is mostly complete and original, roles over smoothly with only fair compression, the Burman gear box shifts smoothly through all gears by hand. The magneto has no spark and I was told by the previous owner that the bike last ran on the ice back in 1973. The suspension moves freely and the bike roles smooth so it doesn’t appear to have been setting out side. The bad news is the bike has a Michigan assembled title; the numbers were removed from the engine and frame and restamped on the case. This will make somebody a great project with the potential to go in many different directions with the build. Parts manuals included.
