Up for auction is a 1955 Chevrolet model 3200 pickup.This truck was in dry storage since 1996 when I bought it. I changed the fuel pump and fuel lines installed a new battery and had it running. This truck is in very solid condition compared to other vehicles I have seen of this age that are located in the north eastern states. The engine is a 235 straight 6 cylinder which runs excellent . It has a 3 speed column shift transmission that shifts perfect with no grinding issues. It still is a floor start with no interior modifications. This trucks drives very well. The brakes work but the pedal feels soft. The previous owner was going to shorten the truck and cut the frame where the rear bumper mounts . I welded those pieces back on to bring the frame back to its original length see pics. The truck will need a complete bed kit and the tail lights are not wired up at this time. This truck has had some body work done over the years and is not perfect but would make a cool driver or is a real worthy restoration project. Vehicles of this age in the state of Vermont were not titled and will be sold with bill of sale only. Please email with any questions .
