You are bidding on a 1953 Oldsmobile Super 88 model 4 door sedan. This car has a very nice running, all original 303 V8. It has the Super 88 smaller body 4 barrel carburetor and factory air cleaner. The car fires right up everytime with a good battery. It has power steering and power brakes, both work fine. The car also has a rebuilt Hydromatic transmission and and a new starter. The car sits on 4 new radial tires with enlarged white walls. The interior on the car has been updated and is newer to the car. They used some original materials in the door panels and stock styles in the seats and headliner, it looks very period correct for the car. The trunk was also upholstered. The car is very easy to drive, fun, and dependable. It goes down the road very nicely, has good steering and a nice overall feel. The paint on the car is not perfect and there are some blems here and there but nothing major. The chrome on the car is also nice, but not show condition. The car is driven regularly and has spent most of its life in the Sacramento area. No rust issues what so ever that I know of. All the lights and gauges work correctly, as does the heater and the radio. There is a factory rear speaker as well. The wipers are vacuum and have never worked correctly. Good glass and all the windows rolls up and down correctly. Like any old car, it could use a good tune up to run perfect, but can easily be driven anywhere without any known issues to me. The car has been adult owned and cared for, garage kept, and enjoyed for many years. Current CA tags and clean and clear title in hand. Look at the pics and see for yourself. Not a show car, but a very nice example of a 53 Olds. Odometer shows 44,000 but only reads 5 digits. The true miles are unknown to me. Car is selling as is where is. There are no warranties implied expressed or given. Please be ready to pay for and pick up car within 2 weeks of auction close. If you want to have the car shipped, buyer to pay all shipping fees, but I will help out in any other way that I can.
