Vehicle Detail

Attention Mopar Fans: 1969 Plymouth Road Runner 426 Blown Hemi From a stock 383 to the Hemi engine that is now under the hood, you can still admire the true Road Runner personality. From the stock brick red exterior color to the now Chrysler flash red, you can still admire its head turning style. From the distinct sound of the rumbling stock exhaust in 1969 to the whine of the 6-71 Fowler blower protruding from the hood, your ears will not deceive you about the sound of power. This baby has changed over the years to a full grown beast with muscle to spare. Each modification was made with attention to detail as well as practicality. The bench seats replaced by buckets and roll bar inserted while keeping a full back seat for space for a family. Each new idea was well thought through and satisfying. This rod may seem familiar for some reason to many of you. It has been featured in 8 national magazines and on 3 different covers. Canfield Ohio was the home to the Hot Rod Nationals for many years and this Mopar was voted the best one there. A car enthusiast, Mopar fan, or anything in between would truly appreciate this "Fine 69" as being a sweet ride. Scott Sullivan graphics make this car unique both high end and mind boggling. He truly captured the car's personality by this distinct look of metal being torn apart by speed. Primarily a show car for many years in the past and surely many more to come. This may have been the one that got away from you years ago or the one that you always had you eye on. Dreams do come true. 10.5 @ 128mph - quarter mile with street tires Features: 426 Chrysler Hemi - Mopar performance block with wedge mounts 6-71 Fowler modified Blower with Teflon Rotor strips 3" drive 2- 750 Carter carburetors Cam from Competition Cams 292 duration 524 lift Hydraulic Kellogg Steel Crank Nascar Hemi Rods Venolia Forged Pistons Childs & Alberts No-Gap Rings MSD Electronic Ignition with Boost timing control Ceramic coated Hooker headers Flow tech Oval mufflers & tubing 727 Torqueflite with B&M shift kit B&M 2800 RPM torque Converter B&M Shifter Art Morrison Subframe 8 ¾” rear end with 4:56 gears & posi 4 wheel disc brakes Art Morrison 4 Link & Panhard Bar 15 x 14 Weld Wheels with 19.5 x 33 Mickey Thompson Soft compound Tires 15 x 6 Weld Wheels with Michelin Tires BASF Glasurit Chrysler Flash Red Paint & Clear Scott Sullivan Custom Graphics Autometer gauges Pape Racing Buckets with RJS 5 point harness 15 Gallon fuel cell & Holley Electric Fuel pump Approximately 622 RWHP This car was purchased from the original owner in 1974.
