Parked in the woods around 1978 this is a 1970 Dodge Challenger Special Edition 383 V8 automatic on the floor. Vin is JH29N0B151174 and the numbers match on the clear title MOTOR AND TRANS ALSO MATCH NUMBERS has a 8 3/4 suregrip rear end also. very rusted floors as you can see in picture, vin shows it has the 383 4bl V8 and also that it is the Special Edition option with only 6584 made according to "Standard Catalog of Chrysler Products" its one of 644 big block se made break down the color combo and options and its probably way less , it has an automatic trans with center console and it says "slap stick" in the clear indicator lense for the trans selector. It was an original plum crazy purple color as you can tell by the firewall color and once had a black vinyl top, it has the SE badging on C pillars and inside door panels. gauges are not the ralley sometime in its life someone tore into the steering column and left it apart. the grille and front end trim are all nice and the taillights are all good too. This has lots of good parts for someones restoration project but in my opinion to far gone to restore,its a drum brake car non power, power steering ,rear defrost, data plate is missing on fender. frame rails will need to be replaced or patched .Car must be paid for in full within 14 days and before it is picked up or delivered.
