RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT * Makes us an offer we can't refuse!!!! **DIESEL** ---NO LEAKS!!!-- Excellent daily driver NOT slow at take off like old diesel. Up for auction is a high mileage 1995 Mercedes Benz 300D Diesel. The Benz will need some cosmetic work, but, I've driven her for 20 miles last week and let me tell you, she runs and drives 10000% We purchased the car from our customer who had a run in with a city truck. The truck tore off three of the side moldings on the driver side and left some deep scars in the metal. However we replaced the bottom moldings and covered the door damage. I've taken close-up photos from the two doors. They don't need to be replaced at all. Overall the Benz needs some cosmetic TLC. The headliner is completely torn, if you like us to replace it, we pay around $300.00 to have that done. I can't include that in the price. The sunroof does not work and neither is the air conditioning. The steering wheel is worn, but we do have a used one. There is no radio, but the trunk still has the OEM CD changer. The antenna is there, but mast is broken off. There are dings and dents in various places. The shift knob is missing On the bright side, she is well worth the cosmetic repairs, because engine and transmission are simply in awesome shape. There are NO LEAKS of any kind, both engine and transmission are BONE DRY, no leakage at all!!! All four power windows work as they should, the power door locks work as they should, the suspension is tight and the engine starts on the first crank. We just replaced the glow plugs last winter, changed oil and filter for the customer. When our customer was scrapped by that city truck, the insurance company paid him nearly $5,000 for the car. He bought her back and intended to have us fix the car. He later changed his mind and we went ahead and bought the car from him. DON'T BE FOOLED by the looks and high mileage, because this 300D is mechanically VERY SOUND. I'd get in and drive her around the world if I had the time. The tires are also in great shape. The engine DOES NOT puff smoke. DON'T let this Diesel get away. Mercedes diesel cars are rare on the used market and we've had many with even higher mileage than this one has. There is a lot of life left in this 300D. A new paint job would do wonders to this car and don't forget, the insurance company value her at nearly $5,000 before side damage and that was with the high mileage, torn headliner and faded paint. We went ahead and replaced all 4 center hub caps with new ones. Please check our ebay feedback, NOT ONCE have we received a negative strike from any ebay transaction.
