I am selling my 1972 VW Bus, I really hate to see it go, but i just dont need it. I am the third owner and the van has 128,800 miles on it. it has never been wrecked, painted or restored, so what you see is all origional from 72. The van has minimal rust, mostly just surface with the acception of a few pen sized holes in front of the right rear wheel, and a soft spot in the passenger side floorboard, nothing structural. Since I have had the bus I have completely replaced the brake system, front calipers, pads, rear cylinders, shoes, master cylinder, new clutch, new throttle and clutch cables, i recently rebuilt the 2 barrel webber carb and replaced the fuel pump. I also installed a set of Empi sway bars front and rear, and an Empi shifter. The origional wheels and 5 hubcaps are included in the auction if you want them, I also have other parts that come with the van, if you want . Including a front suspension beam, windshield, new front kick panels, new door seals, new engine compartment seal, an extra engine door, and a set of curtain rods from a westy. I am sure there is more that i will find in the next week. The van runs and drives great, starts every time, 2000 cc pancake style motor, I would drive it anywhere. I still drive the van to work occasionally (70 mile round trip) and around town and up to the mountains on the weekends. It is currently registered and insured in GA, I DO NOT have a title, (Georgia does NOT require one for a vehicle this old) I will write you a bill of sale and give you a copy of the registration and you should have no problem obtaining a title in another state.
