1956 CHEVROLET CORVETTE PARTS CAR Garage kept until a devastating fire destroyed almost all the parts to this car.Much of the damage to the body occurred after the fire when the owner tried to remove the car from the garage.No title or VIN tag survived the fire.The frame is in very good rust free condition. It appears to have been restored and painted before the fire.Complete running gear including rear differential, drive shaft, 3 spd transmission and bell housing. The original (rusty) 3 spd shifter is included. Emergency brake lever and cable are in the car. Brake and clutch peddles along with radiator support have survived. Power convertible top brackets are still in the car.Four (4) original style 15 inch wheels are still on the car. The original 1956 starter is included but does not have the ID tagThe body can be save but it will take someone who loves to work with fiberglass. The body was removed with a backhoe and the majority of the damage resulted during this 'delicate operation'. A deposit of 500.00 is due within 24 hours of the winning bid. The balance is due within 1 week of the winning bid.
