1948 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan. Over all the car is in good original condition although is non running. This is a "ran when parked" car, but will require restoration as the car has been in storage for the past 40 some odd years. Brief history as I know it. This Cadillac has been in my family since 1952. It was purchesed second hand by my Great Grandfather in August of 1952 from a local jewler in Nashua, NH. The car was religiously serviced and mantained over it's ownership untill my Great Grandfather's passing in 1966. The car has been stored in the family's home garage up untill December of 2010. Unforseen sercumstances forced the car to be relocated to a storage facility where it currently resides. It is currently stored in a wharehouse facility that specializes in antique car storage in Nashua, NH. Current condition I would rate as Good/ Restorable. The car is all original. Interior is in very good shape. No rips, tears or fading. Dash metal and trim is excellent. No corrosion. Exterior is very good. Some surfce rust is located in the rockers of the front fenders. Overall body and chassis is still solid. All glass is excellent. No cracks or scratches. Windows still operate smoothly. Chrome and stainless has light tarnish. All emblems and body mouldings in tact. Drive train is all original 346cid Flathead V8 with automatic transmission. Engine still spins free. Was last started and run in 1978. Car is sold as is. The car has not been registered since the 1960's and the state of NH does not require a title for vehicals of this age. There is no current title on this car.
